What we collect
This site does not ask you to create an account, and there is no contact form. We do not collect names, email addresses or phone numbers on this website.
The tools on this site
The GST calculator, charge-out rate calculator and invoice generator all run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter into them is transmitted to us or to anyone else, and nothing is stored on a server. Closing the page clears it.
The startup checklist saves your ticks in your own browser using local storage, so you can come back to it later. That information stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.
The domain search
When you use a domain search box on this site, the name you typed is passed to Moreweb NZ so the availability check can run. That happens in a new tab on the Moreweb website, and Moreweb's own privacy policy applies from that point.
Analytics and logs
Our web server keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. If we use website analytics, it is to understand which guides are useful in aggregate, not to identify individual visitors.
Third-party content
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads. Links to other sites, including government sites, are subject to those sites' own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask what personal information an organisation holds about you and request correction of it. For anything relating to this site or to a Moreweb account, contact Moreweb NZ Ltd through moreweb.nz.
